ColorMyRaceCar.com announces first design winner for April

Howard City, MI (May 6, 2010) The ColorMyRaceCar.com team has its first winner of the 2010 season. Nine year old Tyler Elston of Wood River Illinois has been chosen as the April winner of the ColorMyRaceCar.com design contest. Winning in the month of April guarantees Tyler a shot at the Grand Prize World 100 Package to be given out in August and Tyler will also be receiving a special monthly prize package from the ColorMyRaceCar.com team, Congratulations Tyler. Tyler’s winning design can be viewed on the "Winners" page.

The ColorMyRaceCar.com team will choose three additional monthly winners in the months of May, June, and July. One additional design will be chosen as the ‘lucky dog’ design winner and in the month of August the ColorMyRaceCar.com team will hold an online vote that will allow the fans to choose which of the five designs they like the best, the design with the most online votes will be unveiled at the 2010 World 100 at Eldora Speedway. “We received some really great designs from all over the country in April, it is neat to see the creative designs the kids have been sending in” Hartman said. “It is exciting to watch this program grow, we went from a few entries a week, to a few entries a day, to a mail box full all in the month of April”. The ColorMyRaceCar.com team recently announced a new kids t-shirt is available for purchase; the t-shirt allows kids to color there own racecar design using fabric markers. T-Shirts are available at the trailer of any event the team attends as well as the colormyracecar.com website and are priced at a low price of $10.

ColorMyRaceCar.com offers kids the unique opportunity to design and color their very own dirt late model racecar. Entries are free and can be found on the website at www.colormyracecar.com. The winning design to be chosen via online voting in the month of August will be unveiled at the 2010 World 100 at Eldora Speedway where the team will attempt to qualify for the prestigious event. ColorMyRaceCar.com and Dave Hartman Ready to Open Season at Lincoln Speedway
Howard City, MI (April, 2010) Hartman Motorsports and the ColorMyRaceCar.com team have been busy preparing for the 2010 racing season, a season that will kick off this Friday, April 2nd at Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, IL.

The ColorMyRaceCar.com team is putting the finishing touches on a new team as they prepare for the 2010 season. “In 2009 we decided to try modified racing, but after a season filled with mechanical failures and setbacks we decided that we needed to get back to what we know, late model racing” Hartman said. “We have had to move all of the mod stuff out, and bring all of the late model stuff in” In 2010 the ColorMyRaceCar.com team will be fielding a swing arm design chassis with power from SMRE Performance. “it has been a busy offseason and I am looking forward to getting back on the track to see where we are at” The ColorMyRaceCar.com team is hoping for a big start to the 2010 season, Friday nights event at Lincoln Speedway is sanctioned by the Monster Midwest Series and many top regional teams are expected to be in attendance “We have a new car, a different motor, and we are going to a track we have never seen, Friday will be a challenge for the team”. Saturday’s plans are not yet decided but the ColorMyRaceCar.com team plans to attend a local UMP sanctioned track in Illinois.
