Colormyracecar.com and Hartman Motorsports have teamed up to provide all young race fans with the
unique opportunity to color there own race car and see it in action! In 2010 one lucky person will
have there design chosen to be wrapped on the Hartman Motorsports Dirt Late Model #12 and see it
unveiled at the 2010 World 100 at the famous Eldora Speedway, the lucky winner will also be receiving
a grand prize VIP race package (details available soon). Along with the grand prize winner monthly
winners will be chosen and will receive a monthly prize packages (details available soon).
In 2010 Hartman Motorsports can be found all over the Midwest. Dave Hartman will be piloting the #12 CJ Rayburn,
SMRE Performance powered Late Model at local dirt racing facilities, so make plans to join us in victory
lane in 2010!
ColorMyRaceCar.com Chooses Five Finalist, Let the Voting Begin!
Howard City, MI (August 10, 2010) When the idea was presented to host a racecar coloring contest for kids across the nation nobody at Hartman Motorsports anticipated the enormous response they would soon receive. Entries from kids began rolling in as soon as Dave Hartman and the ColorMyRaceCar.com team hit the track in the month of April and like the team, they haven’t slowed down.
The ColorMyRaceCar.com team has narrowed the entries down to five winners, four monthly winners and one lucky dog winner are all that is left and now it is up to the fans to vote for their favorite design. The winning design will be debuted at the 2010 World 100 at Eldora Speedway on September 10-11th. Voting is underway at the teams www.colormyracecar.com website. “We received so many great entries from kids across the nation it was difficult to narrow them down to just five” Hartman said, “My favorite part about the winners are none of them are designs we would have put on the car without the contest, these are all original designs.” The ColorMyRaceCar.com team is very fortunate to be working with Allen Markey of Warpaint Graphix, “they do great work over there and Allen is up to the challenge of replicating the winning design, the car is going to look great for the World 100.”
On Saturday night August 7th the ColorMyRaceCar.com team picked up their 3rd feature victory of the season at the Merritt Speedway and also added another runner up spot on Friday night in competition at Winston Speedway. “We have really been on a roll lately” Hartman said, “short of couple mechanical issues we have been a top 5 car almost every night out”. The teams current plans are to compete at Winston and Merritt speedway for the remainder of August and will hit in a few special events along the way.
ColorMyRaceCar.com offers kids the unique opportunity to design and color their very own dirt late model racecar. Entries are free and can be found on the website at www.colormyracecar.com. The winning design to be chosen via online voting in the month of August will be unveiled at the 2010 World 100 at Eldora Speedway where the team will attempt to qualify for the prestigious event.
